$150 FEE INCLUDES:
-Coverage of league expenses
-An age appropriate position on team, pactices, games
-The use of SportsIlustratedPlay app for easy team communication and league updates
-The use of new Spartan uniforms and pom-poms, to be returned in the same condition at the of the season
-Team building projects determined by coaches/parents
-A celebratory banquet to close our season
Youth Cheer Training Camp is offered at the end of July for an additional fee. It is five evenings of skills, conditioning and bonding culminating in a pizza party. More info to come.
Season lasts from beginning of August through beginning of November.
Space will be provided on sidelines or in waiting room for parents to enjoy the cheer progress. Parents/guardians/rides will arrive to practice and games timely and respectfully as athletes join their teams. All concerns and criticisms are reserved to share with coaches and/or league board members. We look forward to suggestions!
Practices will be split between football fields of Indian Meadows and the gymnasium of FDC Athletics.
Families will provide modest weather appropriate practice attire, sneakers, hair ties.
Game times will be determined based on teams, always Saturdays.
Apparel will be available during season for both athletes and their families, but no purchase is required.
Parents/guardians will be an active part of our fundraising team. Please be prepared to volunteer your time and of course support cheerleaders attending events in order to allow this program to grow in true Spartan fashion.
