The cost of registration is $150 which includes Uniform, crop, brief, pom pons, socks, bag, and bow. This also includes rental space and insurance. The uniform and pom pon will be returned undamaged. If the uniform needs cleaning hand wash cold water only. The uniform is $100 to replace.
Spartan Youth Cheer will have 3 levels.
- Grade 1 & 2 Unicorn level will be cheering with grade 1 & 2 flag football teams.
- Grade 3 & 4 Cougar level will be cheering with grade 3 & 4 tackle football teams.
- Grade 5, 6, 7, 8 Panther level will be cheering with grade 5 & 6 tackle football teams.
We would like all teams to start practice August 6 Monday 2018. This will give us 4 weeks to learn the cheers, chants, motions, and half time routine, before the first scheduled Scrimmage on September 8th.
We will not get the football schedule until the last week in August. We are going to do mostly home games and maybe one local away game. We are a new program and unsure of the number of participants.
The practice during summer hours will be 4 days a week 5:30-7:30 pm. M, W, TH, FR or M,T, W, TH
When school starts cheer will practice inside at a designated school gym. This will be determined by the Athletic director Joe Scalise.
Practice will change from 4 days a week to twice a week at 2 hours and 1 hour on Friday at the field.
Except for unicorns which will change to 75 minutes twice a week M,Th and if need be friday practice. We do understand it is important for homework time. This could also be two 90 min practices a week.
We are highly recommending and encouraging cheer registrants to purchase Cheer sneakers ($19.95) and Cheer warm ups ($71).
The cheer gear will be available for sizing and purchase at the final cheer registration on July 8th 2-5 @ the East Glenville Fire Department. Beth Larson was so gracious to sponsor us so we could use this awesome facility. We know we will treat this facility with respect when we are there. On this day we will be doing final registration, uniform/warmup fitting, shoe sizing and parent informational meeting.
